2024 Wounded Warrior Tournament Fundraiser

Long Island Express is happy to announce another successful fundraiser for the USA Patriots Amputee Softball organization (Wounded Warriors). Last year’s donation helped support 20 children (between the ages of 8 to 12) with amputations or limb loss to attend a week-long kids camp with all expenses paid. USA Patriots Amputee veterans served as coaches and mentors for these children, teaching them adaptive techniques and life lessons.

This year we were able to raise a new LI Express record $12,000, due in large part to the incredible support given by our Express family and the many participating LI Fastpitch organizations and community. A special thank you to the Chiefs Fastpitch organization for helping us out at the last minute by donating fields. Those fields provided a great experience for all the participating 12u teams. It was no easy feat to get the fields ready after Fridays storm, we tip our caps to you and your crew!

We would also like to thank Edward P. Morris and Paul Gibson from the town of Brookhaven Parks and Recreation, without their support these events would not be possible. Lastly, we are overwhelmed with gratitude to be a part of a community that supports a cause as worthy as this. Each one of us played a role in making these Wounded Warriors smile.

Wounded Warriors Fundraiser 2022

Long Island Express helped the USA Patriot Amputee Team raise over $50,000 as part of the July 22nd to the 24th weekend fundraising drive. We thank the following Long Island Fastpitch organizations for the participation that helped make the Saturday Tournament/Fundraiser such a success: NY Bluefire, LI Crush, LI Ducks Fastpitch, LI Heat and the Rebels.
