Danni Napoli (Express 2015) Has Monster Rookie Season at SUNY Geneseo

Appeared in 37 games, making 32 starts, primarily in left field … batted .426 with 31 runs, eight home runs, 23 RBI, a .713 slugging percentage and .496 on-base percentage, all team high … the 13th highest season batting average in Geneseo history and one of 26 .400+ seasons … eight home runs tied her for second-highest in a season with four other players … slugging percentage was fourth highest in program history and on-base percentage was sixth best … named All-SUNYAC First Team … led the SUNYAC in slugging percentage, was second in home runs, third in batting average, sixth in on-base percentage and eighth in runs scored … named SUNYAC Player of the Week for the week ending May 2 as she went 9-for-16 (.563) with seven runs, three home runs and 10 RBI in five games … had 13 multi-hit games … went 3-for-3 against Benedictine (3/18) … 2-for-3 with a two runs, two RBI, a double and a home run against Rochester (3/26) … 2-for-3 with a home run against Cortland (4/1) … 3-for-4 against Alfred St. (4/12) … 3-for-4 with two runs, two home runs and four RBI against Brockport (4/27) … 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI against Buffalo St. (4.29) … 2-for-2 with two runs, two walks, a home run and two RBI against Plattsburgh (5/6) in the SUNYAC Tournament … named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament team after batting 5-for-11 with three runs, a home run and two RBI in the championship.
